First Year Space

This was my desk for the first year of my illustration course, as many other students did, I wanted to make the space very personal. The centre piece of my desk is my Climate Change poster from my first project, I feel that the purple really stands out and sets a cool aesthetic for the rest of the desk. I've also added other personal items across the desk, many sketches of characters that I've done at random along with printed images of my favourite animals. I made the wall rather full and crowded to create a rather busy, uplifting and inviting environment that I could work in. The lights were used to give a sense of warmth and homeliness about my desk so I felt safe when working in the studio.

This desk was a very personal space to me, and I hope that in second year that I can make my space just a great if not better.
